点评:We were recommended attending a cookery
class when we were in our holidays in Italy.
We did some research and came across Puglia Chef Academy via Green Italy Tours.
We corresponded via WhatsApp and made a booking to have a cookery class at our holiday villa, approx. 10 mins south of Ostuni.
The event began at approx. 4pm and went on, into the evening, and concluded at approx. 9:30pm.
We had 3 members of staff visit Josephine our Italian chef, Giulia out English translator, and Gio the organiser. All there were very kind, very patient and happy to be with us.
We made 3 courses in reverse order. We made Sicilian Bitter Orange marmalade tart, stuffed veal rolls in rich tomato sauce, over hand made pasta hats; and for starters, baked layers of deep friend obergine separated by tomato sauce, cheese and basil, topped off with parmesan.
We all sat down together at a long table, outside the villa, to enjoy our food.
There was plenty of food to eat and a good selection of quality local wine to drink. Absolutely awesome meal!
