Base Nautique du Pont d'Arc的点评
点评：Party of 4 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs (which added to the experience 😀). We booked the mini descent (1:30pm start) just a few days earlier with a guide (required policy for young children).
Communication for booking was good and the meeting point on the day easy to find. All the equipment was in excellent condition.
The guide was clear in his instructions and very relaxed throughout the trip, allowing us to take our time to enjoy the experience. He also took photos of the group throughout the descent and shared them at the end which is a lovely touch.
There were some small rapids to negotiate but nothing a novice couldn’t handle.
We had a couple of stops, one a short break and the other a longer stop at Pont D’arc so we could relax and have a swim. It’s a lot quieter in September which was great for us but (tip) during busier months we were advised mornings are usually very quiet if you can make the early start.
The scenery along the Ardeche is just stunning and we all had a fantastic afternoon.
Would highly recommend Base Nautique du Pont d'Arc if you’re looking for a safe and enjoyable canoe trip down the Ardeche.
