点评：This is one of our favourite places to visit, it’s never crowded and is unspoilt by the usual seaside attractions, however we were very sad to see the normally clean beach strewn with plastic in varying states of decay, to include a massive decomposing dead seal. The plastic consisted of just about every type, including lids, bits of frayed plastic rope, large chunks of plastic, a buoy, dog poo bags, plastic bottles, a large blue container, plastic netting, the list goes on. This had all been washed in by the tide and was mostly covering the extensive area of pebbles, before you get to the sand. I know local heroes go out collecting this detritus, but nobody could keep up with this, it was just too extensive. How can our ocean life contend with this level of plastic pollution, let alone humans. The scale of it made me feel hopeless. This is supposed to be a National Trust beach too!
