点评：We did three day tours with Mike Vorster (Tim’s stepson) on 4/25, 4/26 & 4/27. They were all excellent and Mike was a wonderful guide. On 4/25, we visited the Cradle of Humankind museum and did a tour of the Steinforken Cave. In our mind, the cave was the real highlight of that day. Mike then took us to lunch at the Necks & Decks restaurants where we saw several animals from the deck where we ate. On 4/26, we visited the Lesedi cultural village where we learned about some of the tribes that lived in the area. For lunch, we had a buffet in the village. On 4/27, we visited the Lion and Safari park. It was reminiscent of the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I t was an enjoyable way to prepare for the safari’s later in our vacation. We had lunch at the park. After lunch, Mike took us to a local butchery which had some fantastic biltong which we later shared with companions on our safari tour. My wife & I do not drink coffee or tea and Mike provided us with Diet Coke (my wife’s beverage of choice starting on the second day.

I cannot say enough good about how informative and helpful Mike was over the three days. I highly recommend both Wildside (in general) and Mike Vorster (in specific) for touring in South Africa.
