点评：At Alton Towers, the Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure is meant to be a great first coaster for kids — but the experience is let down by how slowly it runs.
The posted wait time (around 30 minutes) is consistently inaccurate — in reality it feels much longer. Compared to other rides in CBeebies Land, the loading and changeover of passengers is noticeably slower, which creates unnecessary queues.
What makes it more frustrating is that fast pass users are clearly prioritised, sometimes with extra time taken (photos, small chats) while the main queue is left waiting. For younger children, this really impacts the experience — they lose patience before even getting on.
It’s hard to tell whether this is down to the ride’s design or how it’s being operated, but either way the result is the same:
a slow-moving queue that takes away from what should be one of the smoother, more enjoyable rides for kids.
