Savannah Lakes Village Monticello Golf Club的点评
点评：We live here at Savannah Lakes Village. This is a review of the Monticello course, not Tara (sister course).
Please know that I am a critically honest person. I am not anyone's fan boy. I won't give these golf courses a five star rating because I live here.
ok, I have been a member of 4 different golf courses (3 championship courses) over 58 years. I have played more courses than I can remember , from Maine to Arizona. Monticello golf course in McCormick, SC is the best course I have ever played. The course is blessed with a fantastic course superintendent. This course is almost always in tip top shape and when it is not, there are apologies and remedies offered quickly. The course was designed by one of my favorite course architects, Tom Jackson. imho, there are 17 fantastic golf holes here at "monti". Hole 5 belongs on every golf calendar in the country. I think hole 2 here should be redesigned. This is not a difficult course off the tee, but green approach shots and the greens themselves demand good shots if you want a par. Green speeds are as fast as anywhere I have played with the exception of Sky Valley in Dillard Ga. The green fees are comparable to courses of this caliber.
