Don't book the private tour! Very expensive for what you get

点评：We chose a "private" family tour for the five of us. It was extremely expensive for what we received. We had to wait with the entire tour group and started 10 minutes late because the owner, Leslie, didn't want to give her 'opening' speech to the other people who were running late and us as well. We saw a cow, a pig, a tiny deer, some kangaroos, two sloths with babies in a cat cage, a few lemurs, a capybara and a porcupine. There is NO description of the animals you will see on the website. Had I known it was just these animals, I would not have booked. Keep in mind that this is not a rescue or conservation group (Leslie doesn't market it that way either). These are animals that have been purchased with the specific intent to make money off of them to tourists. My kids and husband refused to pet the sloths as we had just been to Costa Rica where we saw wild sloths; they thought that the sloths should be in trees and not a cat cage. It was supposed to be a 2 hour tour but we ended almost 20 minutes early so in all, the tour lasted for about an hour and a half. If you choose to go, do the group tour, don't pay the huge market up to do a private tour. It isn't worth the expense at all. We saw the other tour groups and nothing was different between ours and theirs, except for hundreds of dollars. I would not do this again and do not recommend the experience, though the guide was very good and extremely well-informed about all the animals. It's about 45 minutes outside of Orlando so there was a significant time investment as well. There is no other start time except for Saturdays at 11 a.m., which is when both the private and group tours start.
