点评:I have visited a number of contemporary art museums in Italy, including excellent ones in Udine, Vicenza and Trieste. Sadly, this was a huge disappointment. Other reviewers’ comments on the staff were spot on. The woman at the reception desk was exceptionally rude and off-hand. She failed to make eye contact and failed to speak. I showed my tourist office card and eventually she slapped the tickets on the counter. Not a good start, but alas, things didn’t improve. The general collection had little that was memorable or even worthy of a photo. In many cases the commentary provided was indicative of the author seeking to impress the reader with verbose interpretations of the works’ motives that even the artists would be likely to challenge. The age old question “Is this art?” raised its head frequently.
I know Morandi is revered, yet the sheer volume of this collection and the highly repetitive nature of the majority in my opinion tends, perhaps unfairly, to diminish the impact of his legacy.

我知道莫兰迪备受尊崇,但在我看来,这套收藏的数量实在庞大,且其中大部分作品又极具重复性——这种情况或许有些不公平吧。为了削弱其遗产所带来的影响。
