点评：I must admit I am a bit biased, as Marques de Murrieta is my favorite wine. I came to the tour as my top of the bucket-list. From the very first greeting by security to my final farewell as I left the property, I must admit I was in awe. I felt like a kid on his first trip to Disney World.
The architecture of Marques de Murrieta is extremely beautiful. Every part of the wine production has been well-thought out. The Bodegas lighting, climate and interior design make you feel like you are one with the wine. The aroma of the cellars takes you to the aroma and flavor of the wine. Being a fan of Marques de Murrieta allowed me to cherish these notes by just walking into the vaults.
The design and layout of every building is amazing. I felt at times I was at a museum that celebrates almost 200 years of wine production. It’s quite an amazing experience.
The tasting was great. We opted to skip the food pairing, as I feel this wine does not require any outside influences to agree that it stands on it’s own. I wish I could do this tour every week.
You definitely have to book in advanced. Make some additional time if you can and just have a bottle or two at the bar.
