Disappointing and unclean
Bannatyne Health Club & Spa - Chafford Hundred的点评
点评：My husband and I visited Bannatyne Spa today using a gift card, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.
The pool area was not as clean as we expected, with leaves and dirt in the indoor jacuzzi and plastic wrappers around the edges. We were also surprised that the spa area is separate from the pool, meaning you have to walk through the tennis court area to access it, which didn’t feel particularly relaxing or what we expected from a spa visit.
Unfortunately, the massage was the biggest disappointment. It was honestly the worst massage either of us has ever experienced. The two young therapists were very pleasant and friendly, but they appeared extremely inexperienced and lacked confidence. The treatment essentially felt like we were just being rubbed with oil, with very little pressure or massage technique.
I completely appreciate that everyone has to start somewhere, and this is not a criticism of the therapists personally. However, I do feel the business has a responsibility to properly support, train and supervise employees so that they are confident and competent before providing treatments to customers who are paying for a professional service.
As this was a gift card, we didn’t personally pay for the treatment. However, if we had paid for the experience ourselves, I would have been very disappointed and would have requested a refund.
Overall, unfortunately not the relaxing spa experience we were hoping for. I hope Bannatyne takes this feedback seriously and looks at both the cleanliness of the facilities and the standard and training of the therapists.
