A Once-in-a-Lifetime Arctic Horse Ride

Riding through the Arctic landscape in December was nothing short of magical. Snow-covered trails, crisp polar air, and the quiet stillness of the surroundings made it feel like we were riding through another world. The horses were calm, strong, and incredibly well cared for perfectly suited to the Arctic conditions and clearly loved by the team.
The guides were outstanding: professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel safe and confident from start to finish, while also sharing insights about the region, the horses, and life above the Arctic Circle. Riding at night under the dark Arctic sky added an extra layer of adventure and atmosphere that photos simply cannot capture.
Everything was extremely well organised, from safety gear to pacing, making it suitable even if you’re not an experienced rider. This is not just a horse ride—it’s a true Arctic experience that immerses you in nature, culture, and adventure.
If you’re in Tromsø in winter, this is an absolute must-do. Worth every minute and every cent. I would recommend it without hesitation.
