Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary的点评
点评：This was the best thing I have ever done.
Richard our guide was so knowledgeable & friendly, he explained about the elephants backgrounds & what we would be doing. The safety aspect was explained to us in detail.
We were driven into the park & then met all the other rangers who introduced themselves & we then walked into the elephants habitat.
First of all we met the beautiful Coco who was happy for all of our group to interact with her. This was so amazing to be able to touch her & Richard & the other rangers explained to us about her age etc.
We then met Jumbo & he definitely is a big elephant. Seeing him break the branches of the tree was awesome.
We then followed some other elephants further into the park & had the pleasure of being able to feed them. They all stood behind the fencing which we were told that they all know their own place & stand there. They are so clever and such beautiful animals .
We were then taken back to the bar & were able to be given some snacks & drinks.
Then we watched the video of our experience which was filmed by Ryley, which we purchased for $60 for the video & photos which will be great to show our family & friends back in the UK.
All I can say is get this booked, to be able to spend time with these animals in their natural environment is an experience not to be missed & something I will treasure for my lifetime.
The only tip I can give is it's probably better to wear trainers or shoes that are leather as although I wore sketchers trainers because they are fabric tops I had to pick out all the sharp grass that gets inside & is painful.
The terrain is uneven.
