All Day Petersburg trip, a day of experiences.

点评：Our second trip on this rail experience. This time was the All Day trip to Petersburg, WV. We booked the Superior Dining experience for the trip. Our rail coach was very comfortable and smooth riding. So much so you couldn't tell you were on Jointed rail. The package included a light breakfast, charcuterie board for lunch and the return featured a four course dinner. The offering were very good. Breakfast was filling and tasty. The lunch was not bad and the dinner was very good, all prepared on board the train. A little pricey but certainly worth it.
My biggest complaint would be the fact that the company seems not to put money into their facilities. The cars while clean, comfortable and overall very nice, the outside of the train was dirty and in need of a lot of TLC. The "station", just a collection of decks with canopy roofing on part of it along with a couple of old cabooses for tickets and restrooms looked shabby. The restrooms were barely a step above an outhouse, very smelly and not clean, just plywood.
The trip itself was nice but a little slow. Arrived back in Romney almost an hour late due to a fallen tree on the tracks and stopping for cows on the tracks. Part of the experience.
