Tourist Trap at Agrari Beach – Hidden Prices and No Fiscal Receipt

点评：Very disappointing! Be careful — if you are tourists and do not speak Greek, you may end up being massively overcharged.
We came to this famous beach thinking it would be quieter and less crowded. The beach is covered with pebbles, and there is absolutely nothing nearby where you can eat or drink except for this place, Agrari Beach, which seems to control the entire beach area. The bar prices are extremely high. A 330 ml Mythos beer costs 7 euros.
When we arrived around 11:00 AM, not a single sunbed was occupied. A petite young woman welcomed us with a smile. I spoke to her in Greek and told her we wanted to stay at the beach. I asked how much two sunbeds with an umbrella would cost, and she told us “15 euros” (“deca pende”), also in Greek. However, when we actually got onto the beach, another young woman approached us and spoke to my friends in English, asking for 50 euros for two sunbeds. Towels were an extra 20 euros per sunbed. I stepped in and spoke in Greek, telling her that her colleague had just told us the price was 15 euros, and asked how it could suddenly become 50 euros. Their response was that these were the actual prices and that I had misunderstood.
The conclusion is simple: if they see you as a tourist, they will try to charge you three times more. Prices are not displayed anywhere.
To not break the mood, we paid and asked for a fiscal receipt. Of course, they said they could not provide one and only gave us a payment note instead. I am attaching it. It’s a joke!
Avoid this beach if you can. There are many other beaches that are far more beautiful and much cheaper. For example, Avli: sandy beach, two beds and an umbrella for 20 euros.
