Icarus Falconry的点评
点评：My Husband was bought the falconry experience for his 70th Birthday. It was easy to negotiate the booking on-line and there were many dates to choose from. I also paid the £20 to go as a spectator.
We were greeted warmly and both ladies were so friendly and interested in why this experience has been chosen.
We were free to look around whilst we waited for the other couple booked at the same time. All the birds looked happy and the enclosures were well kept and clean.
We started with the ladies explaining what the itinerary was and what to expect. A guy named Jack was coming in too so that we could see his eagle fly.
When Jack arrived we went into Holdenbys Gardens to the big lawn and he flew this beautiful eagle which was so special.
After that we went into a field to see the snowy owl fly which was amazing. It landed on my husbands glove and it made his day. Such a beautiful creature. The lady (I think her name was Estelle??) Was so knowledgeable and knew the owl so well as she had hand reared it from birth.
Next we saw the Chilian blue buzzard who so happy flying on that day as it was windy and apparently they love the wind! He looked so serene in the sky. He landed on my husbands arm and it really surprised him because he came in so fast. Such a beautiful bird with menacing eyes and a yellow beak. The young man who attended him was also knowledgeable and he also spotted a peregrine flying nearby which was a bonus.
Next was the small vulture and again Estelle knew her stuff! She gave us so much information about the bird and it was sad to learn how they are treated in Africa and Asia....we had no idea. You think they are quite ugly at first but close up they really are beautiful.
Although it was my Husbands treat I really enjoyed it too and would definitely recommend this experience for any bird lover. It doesn't get better than this. Thank you Icrus Falconry .

接着我们看到了智利蓝鹰。那天风很大，它飞得格外开心——显然这种鸟就喜欢有风的环境！它在天空中显得无比从容淡定。后来它突然停在了我丈夫的手臂上，这可把他吓了一跳，因为它飞得太快了。真是一只漂亮的鸟，有着威严的眼神和黄色的喙。陪同他的年轻人也学识渊博，他还发现附近有一只游隼在飞翔，这可真是意外之喜。
接着是一只小型秃鹫，埃斯特尔对这一物种同样了如指掌！她向我们介绍了关于这种鸟的诸多信息；得知它们在非洲和亚洲所遭受的待遇后，我们感到十分难过……我们以前对此一无所知。初看之下它们似乎挺丑陋的，但近距离观察后就会发现它们其实非常美丽。虽然这是丈夫请客，但我也乐在其中。我绝对推荐这项体验给所有养鸟爱好者。没有比这更棒的体验了。谢谢Icrus猎鹰中心。
