A great morning on our own speedboat

点评：As we arrived for a short break in Xlendi, we knew exactly which place we wanted to visit inland but hadn’t thought too much beyond that.
Having been given their pamphlet by our hotelier we started reading through. Initially we’d liked to have done the 4hour boat trip but it wasn’t due to start until our departure day.
Hiring a speedboat was suggested to us and at first we said, thank you but no thanks.
However, after a little chat and thinking time we decided to go for it and it turned out to be a great 3 hours.
Everything was explained fully - both the do and do nots. An easy to follow sea map is provided, cooler and snorkel equipment.
We took the 9am slot (but they seem quite flexible with timings) and were so pleased we did as we made it to the best spots of Camino before all the big tourist boats arrived - not that it was a problem when they did as all the passengers disembarked onto land and we were in our own little oasis in the bay.
I cannot recommend this enough. The staff are incredibly friendly and explain everything so well. The boat is easy to manage and you get to enjoy something totally unique.
Don’t think too long as it’s getting busier and if you can book in advance - you won’t regret it.
