点评：With 12 members, four being between the ages 3 and 9 years, our first family canoe trip was an amazing success! Thank you Camil & Algonquin Outfitters! Our very experienced Camil was an excellent guide! He was very strong on safety rules and ‘regs, shared map reading skills, kept the group together, and thankfully, very mindful of keeping all our gear together at portage take outs and entry points. Nothing went missing when we shared portages with other trippers coming and going! We had athletic adults who quickly caught on to paddling and portaging, helpful when the winds aren’t at your backs! Camil was very helpful with gentle instruction on good camping etiquette. He found us a great site, led in safe campfire protocols, and gave great instruction on roping techniques to hang food barrels safely!
We all highly recommend a guided trip. Camil added so much to our experience! Algonquin Outfitters is such a well organized canoe tripping company under Gord Baker. The staff were always so accommodating and did a great job at provisioning! A win-win for all! Thank you all for a tremendous canoe trip!
