点评:I would say this is probably the best and easiest spot to visit while on Shetland that comes with these type of dramatic views - the other 2 would be Eshaness, that requires a further up drive north of the main island, and the other one being the Hermaness National Nature Reserve, but that one requires actually 2 car ferries.
Here you simply drive on the main road from Lerwick to arrive and a newly refinished parking lot and take a walk up to the lighthouse to enjoy it all from the top - you can do it all for free, or you can actually pay for the tickets that allow you to enter the lighthouse facilities - we opted for the paid part and found it worth every penny.
Also, there is a "donation" type of cafe with killer views - coffee/tea, home made cakes all via donations only - a pretty unique and honorable system
We didn't get to see any puffins in late April, but I was told that they do come here - also, a cool fact is that in order to get here, since this is the southern most tip of the main island, you do get to cross the airport runway :)
You can spend here easily 2-3 hours if want to just enjoy it at a slow pace, even more. Take your time, it's worth it
