点评：Black Stallion Echo Ranch was hands down one of the most special experiences we had in Costa Rica. From the very beginning, everything felt personal and genuine. I was in direct contact with the owner, Alex, through WhatsApp, and the communication was so clear and easy pickup time, what to bring, what to expect we felt taken care of before we even arrived. Once we got there, it only got better. Alex himself joined us for the barbecue dinner, which honestly says everything about the kind of place this is. Then there’s Nancy, the chef the food wasn’t just delicious, it felt like it was cooked from the heart. We truly felt like guests in her home, not customers.
We were also lucky enough to meet Alex’s famous parrot Cookie, his dog Jack, and so many warm, kind people who made the ranch feel alive. Our driver Caesar was wonderful, and meeting his family and his beautiful girls was such a touching, unexpected moment. We also loved spending time with Christian, a friend of the ranch and famous photographer, who added such a special touch to the experience.
Our cowboy, Conducho, was one of the best we’ve ever met someone who truly cares about the ranch, the horses, and the experience. The horseback riding itself was unlike anything we’ve ever done. We rode up into the mountains and watched the sunset… pure magic. It was the most relaxing experience we had during our five days in Tamarindo. The barbecue dinner by Nancy was incredible, and the entire evening felt warm, authentic, and unforgettable. We will absolutely be back and next time, we are 100% staying at the ranch Tekana Retreat. We only wish we knew sooner that accommodations were available.
