点评:we booked the 2h ride as our 6year old boy loooves horses though doesn't yet ride regularly (the first time he was ever on a pony was in Kurland, though we don't even live in Africa). The "half-day" ride is apparently just a 2h ride with a stop in the middle at a winery, so not a great option for kids. Grumpy preteen "horses are for girls" brother nevertheless came along, too, and ended up loving it, galloping with the group.
The staff matched up riders by experience and ability, walking us through beautiful surrounding river and forest landscape before letting more advanced riders gallop by the polo fields and farm area. We really appreciated Sefi (? spelling) guiding our little one, who was nervous to be alone on a horse vs pony, chatting and joking until our little guy's confidence picked up. The downside of the trip is that he now wants to ride regularly.
There's a practical washroom right at the reception office (which could use a sign, as it's not obvious where to meet). Young horse aficionados might also be able to help feed and spray down the horses.
No riders can wait nearby at the lovely Nature's Way farm stall, which has wifi, too.
