Epping Ongar Railway的点评
点评：We recently enjoyed a steam train journey on the Epping Ongar Railway that included a traditional fish and chip lunch, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The beautifully restored steam locomotive and vintage carriages created a real sense of nostalgia. The volunteers and staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about preserving the railway's history.
The fish and chip lunch was excellent and all served to our individual tables, piping hot. The portions were extremely generous. It was the perfect accompaniment to a leisurely heritage railway journey.
There is also a small bar available on board that serves drinks throughout the journey.
The pace of the trip allowed plenty of time to admire the scenery, take photographs, and simply enjoy the unique atmosphere of travelling by steam train. It felt like stepping back in time for a few hours.
Overall, this was a fantastic day out and great value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing experience, whether you're a railway enthusiast or simply want to enjoy a traditional British lunch in a charming setting. I would happily book another trip in the future.
