Whitewebbs Museum of Transport的点评
点评：Whitewebbs Museum of Transport is open every Tuesday and once I had a Tuesday off I decided to pay it a visit. I got the train there rather than driving. The museum is only about a 15 minute walk from the railway station so you may want to consider this as a good way to get there if your local station is on the line from Moorgate to Stevenage via Hertford North.
The museum has plenty to see when you get there. The main building used to be a pumphouse built during the Victorian era. It is now used to house a wide variety of different cars on the ground floor, Motorcycles and a cafe on the first floor, bicycles on the second floor and children's toys on the third floor.
As well as this there are plenty of things to see behind the building including static engines, fire station where vintage fire engines are on display. there is also a former railway carriage where there are some model railway layouts on display.
I was very impressed to see the former station canopy of Enfield Chase railway station which has been beautifully reassembled and looks very good.
I also really enjoyed seeing the well where the water is still there which has run off the field and was used to retrieve water that could be fed into the nearby new river.
There were plenty of volunteers around to answer any questions and give you lots of information. It was a very enjoyable place to visit and I would recommend going if you have a Tuesday with nothing to do.
