Beautiful, Clear Water and Worth the Stop

点评：We visited Morrison Springs County Park in early April 2026, and it was one of the most unique and affordable things we did during spring break.
It was about 85 degrees outside, but the spring water was definitely cold. If you are familiar with natural springs, then you know they stay cold year-round. The water was chilly when you first get in, but after a few minutes you adjust, and it was still very enjoyable. The water is crystal clear and absolutely beautiful.
There is a swimming platform you can swim out to and relax on, as well as a boardwalk and dock where people were jumping into the water. They also have rope swings you can climb and swing into the spring, which was really fun for both kids and adults.
We went on a Tuesday and it was not crowded at all. There were only a few other families there, and it felt very peaceful and spacious. The park itself is not very big. There is a small beach area with a few metal picnic tables and a larger shaded pavilion area at the top, but it is more of a natural park than a commercial one.
It only cost $4 per car to enter, which was by far one of the cheapest things we did on our trip and ended up being one of our favorite experiences. We saw people with kayaks, snorkel gear, and even scuba gear, so if you have equipment, bring it because the water is clear enough to really see underwater.
Overall, I would definitely go again. It is beautiful, peaceful, very affordable, and a great way to experience one of Florida’s natural springs.
Tip: Bring towels, water shoes, and snacks, and try to go on a weekday if you can.
