点评：Amazing trip with an amazing team that helped us summit Kilimanjaro. Hands down the best experience of my life time. Tasneem at Gladys was very responsive in helping put together our itinerary . Chief guide Erick and assistant guides Patrick and Fadhili are by far the best guides one could ask for . Erick is so calm and collected and the Patrick and Fadhili just as good in helping us reach our goal. Chef Tito served amazing meals. Porter team was beyond comparison. Everyone was happy and cheerful and ever ready to help whether it’s carrying our bags, cleaning our shoes and gaiters and assisting with anything and everything . Tents were immaculate and clean . Toilets kept clean . Excellent hygiene .
Summit night - the guides and porters went over and beyond to make us succeed and you could see that the support they provided was over and beyond what other companies provided . Whether it was going ahead at tricky spots and making sure we placed our feet correctly and safely and helping us or provided hot drinks and making sure we ate and drank at regular intervals and changing our feet and hand warmers there was nothing they would not do .One of our friends struggled but Erick made sure he succeeded in summitting.
On the descent we had two porters help us get down swiftly and safely . The rental equipment store was well equipped with good quality stuff . If I had known I would have just rented most of my stuff . Erasto who sang songs at camp should be in a band. He is so talented . Both the Emmanuel’s who were our waiters served every meal with a smile.
Porter was very well equipped and well taken care of and seemed genuinely happy to work for this company . I am not into writing long reviews but this team deserves all the price .
I only have one suggestion. Toilets in good condition and maintained very well but the toilet enclosure could be better . Everything else was PERFECT . Thank you team Gladys
