Earplugs definitely required
St. George's Bay的点评
点评：First the good points. The rooms are clean and comfortable and a good size. The staff are lovely without exception, especially the reception staff and Mikal in the restaurant is very sweet.
The pool is next door in the Corinthia but is clean, the sun-beds are comfortable.
Unfortunately, the bad points.
The whole of St George’s bay seems to be one huge construction site. The massive Hard Rock Hotel directly behind the St George is supposed to be open in July 2026 but is far from complete and work continues late into the evening. The roads and paths are unsafe around the site.
Directly across the bay another site opened and the noise from there is unbearable. The hydraulic hammering starts at 7:30am and continues until 4:30pm. You can’t escape it, while ‘relaxing’ by the pool, it’s all you can hear. Some rooms around the pool are also being renovated, so that adds to the noise.
St George’s bay in general is aimed at the young, Paceville is full of bars and clubs that are open until the early hours, then you hear everyone going home singing and shouting.
Earplugs are definitely required to stay at this hotel for day and night.
