点评：I did the LADAKH - LAND OF THE HIGH PASSES tour in June and it was fantastic. It was incredibly well organised by Sherup Sherpa, and we had an amazing time.
Sherup provided exceptional leadership with his calmness and decision-making, which, with the weather and military requirements, was fantastically managed. He really looked after the group, was so easy to get along with, and became a good friend to us. We always felt well supported.
Highlights of our trip included riding to 19,000 ft at Umling-La, following the Indus River from Hanle to Leh, and the Aryan Valley. The scenery is spectacular — greater than I could have imagined.
We had a small group of six riders on five motorbikes, which meant you weren’t being held up or delayed like you can be with the big groups of 15–20+. Our Himalayan 450 bikes were in excellent order (in fact, mine had only 2 km on it and was brand new). We also took the option of having a driver and mechanic who followed us in a pickup truck. Worth their weight in gold.
Overall, I couldn’t rate this trip or Sherup highly enough. I really didn’t want it to end.
