点评：I was very disappointed on our recent visit to the Houston space center. My husband and I had been there about six years ago. We very impressed with a lot of the exhibits and made a special out of state trip with multiple family members to bring our grandsons here once they were oldenough to appreciate the space center. Little did we know that many of the exhibits my husband and I thought were most interesting six years ago. We’re now closed for maintenance or renovation. Nowhere on the space center website does it tell you these exhibits are temporarily closed. I understand that this has to happen periodically to run a top-notch museum, butyou could let visitors know ahead of time. I could have chosen a better time to visit and not forked out so much money for five planetickets, two hotel rooms, a car rental to accommodate my extended family coming in. And a difficult 6 Hour Dr. from elsewhere in Texas for my husband and I to meet them in Houston. We’re having a great family vacation visiting with each other but our return trip to the Houston space center was disappointing.
