Stackpole Walled Garden的点评
点评：Only one other table in use that had already been served drinks we ordered 2 coffees and 2 paninis. The latte was bitter with 2 chips in the mug! - we waited 35 minutes for food, noting how untidy the place was and deciding how long to stay before leaving. Meanwhile the place was filling up and we wondered how the staff would cope. We had initially asked for soup of the day as did most that arrived after us to be told none had been made.
The panini was average, lots of bacon, hardly any brie and a dollop of cranberry all in one place - the crisps were hard, greasy and awful. The salad looked uninspiring. The cutlery was so blunt neither of us could cut our food.
Whilst waiting to be served one young lad was grating cheese - without gloves for most of the duratiob but did eventually put a pair on.
The food was more expensive than some very good local cafes, we opted to go there to support mencap and appreciate the values but sadly won't be returning.
We did have a quick look at the half dead over priced plants on the way out and wondered how things had depreciated so much in the past few years.
