点评：I am writing a review regarding kitesurfing in Saint Barthelemy, in part because it was difficult for me to find information about the location. I am an experienced kiter and have kited at many locations in the Caribbean and elsewhere (Bonaire being my favorite). I traveled to Saint Barthelemy in December 2025 for a birthday celebration with others who were not kiteboarders (and as an aside, the island is a wonderful place to have a celebration, with outstanding beach clubs and restaurants). Based on limited available information on the web, and the need to take a small plane from Sint Maarten to get to Saint Barthelemy, I decided to rent rather than take my gear. On a positive note, the rental company that I worked with in Saint Barthelemy was very helpful and accommodating. On the other hand, the wind was not consistent, and was typically gusty (despite comments from the web that December was a usually a good month for wind). So I was not able to kite at all for the entire week that I was there (and did not see anyone kiting). In addition, the primary site (Grand Cul de Sac) had many anchored boats, which would have limited the space to kite. In addition, launching requires a drift launch. Overall, I would not recommend Saint Barthelemy as a reliable place for kiteboarding.
