点评：We had such a lovely summer afternoon at Historic Wagner Farm with family and out-of-town guests! It’s a hidden gem in Glenview – free to enter, with free parking, and perfect for all ages. The farm has a unique charm, offering a peek into vintage farming life with well-preserved barns, friendly animals (we saw cows, pigs, chickens, and horses!), and old equipment that really gives it that authentic feel.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and share fun facts. The kids had a blast in the play area and loved seeing the animals up close (but remember – no feeding or petting). We especially appreciated the shaded picnic benches all around – we brought snacks and it made for a great little picnic.
The on-site ice cream shop was a hit, though heads-up, it closes at 5 PM. There's also a small farmers market with local goods inside – not huge, but still charming and fresh.
If you're visiting on a nice day, this is truly a great spot to unwind and enjoy some wholesome fun with family. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
