Lion and Cheetah Park的点评
点评：We happened to be in Harare for a couple of days and my brother in law suggested that we visit here. We figured out that we would have a couple of hours as it was getting on in the day. Entrance fee was I think $15 for adults and 10 for children. The guard on the entrance gate was very helpful though he didn't tell us that the shop etc closes from 4pm. He did say the center closes at 5pm.
Well we saw lions, ostriches, a camel, crocodiles, etc and a number of snakes. We handled a snake and the interaction was wonderful and the staffs knowledge was very good. This was such a great experience. Yes the days of zoos and keeping animals in cages is no longer a favorable one and if that bothers you then don't go and then slate it. This was for me and my family an excellent experience which needed a full day in order to experience all that was on offer. When we were leaving the gift shop was closed and I mentioned to the lady and gentleman in the office that it was a shame that we didn't know. Without any bother he took the key and opened the shop up for me. I bought a Rogue safari hat and shall wear it proudly when I get back home to the UK and use it for our 6th heatwave of the year.
I hope that this venue lasts for many years so that many more, young and old will benefit from the experience. Thank you.
