Awful taxi experience from airport Kefalonia

点评：We went straight to the taxi point at the airport and we were told the price straight away €30. We said that’s quite a lot for how far we were going (around 10 minutes), and he gave the usual excuse about insurance etc.
We then had trouble locating the place we were staying and he became very impatient. At this point we were already a bit stressed, and then he said, “You need to do something.” He then followed it up by saying it was okay because he charges “€60 an hour.” He had already made us feel really uncomfortable in the car.
He then told us we were staying in a “sh**thole” and said it’s the capital of Kefalonia. Trying to locate the place on our phone from Airbnb took about 5 minutes, and then 2 minutes later we pulled up where we thought it was.
We didn’t have change and gave him a €50 note, but despite originally saying the fare was €30, he hesitantly gave us €15 back along with his card. The whole energy was awful. At no point was he helpful or nice — he just sat there smirking. I would never recommend this taxi service on the island of Kefalonia. Keep away!
