点评：I had a terrible experience with JUMBO TOURS in Samaná, very disappointing.
My mom and I booked two excursions with this company, and unfortunately both were poorly organized and frustrating.
On the first tour, we visited El Limón. Although the guide was friendly, he did not speak English — only Spanish — which made it very difficult to understand anything. There was no explanation about the nature, the surroundings, or the experience itself. A guide for an international tour should be able to communicate properly, and this was a major issue.
The second excursion took place on Saturday, March 22, and included Frontón Beach, Madama Beach, and Java Beach. This experience was extremely bad.
It rained heavily throughout the day. We got soaked already at the previous beach and then had to take the boat in strong wind, with waves and rain hitting us, which made everyone cold and very uncomfortable.
Instead of adapting the plan or returning earlier for safety and comfort, we were taken to the last beach. Although we were under a small shelter, we were already completely wet, cold, and uncomfortable. We were left there for the full duration of the stop, simply sitting and waiting in those conditions, without being able to enjoy the beach at all.
Everyone was clearly uncomfortable, yet no changes were made to the itinerary.
There was also a complete lack of communication from the guides. They did not explain anything, did not check on us, and did not provide any support. They only used hand signals to indicate when to get on or off the boat. There was no guidance or care for the group.
It felt like the schedule was followed regardless of the conditions, with no consideration for the passengers’ well-being.
Overall, this was a very negative and uncomfortable experience. I would not recommend Jumbo Tours based on these excursions.
