Many of the cars here are the only surviving examples and have bizarre designs like a bulging windshield for safety and three and even two-wheeled cars, as well as a bunch of hilarious mini cars and a massive amphibious military transport vehicle whose tires alone are 9 feet tall.
The museum is well-curated. Privately-founded museums like this often have walls of text and extraneous unrelated items cluttering the museum. The Lane Motor Museum has a sign for every car that is detailed but not excessively so. It also has some small planes, wooden rowboats and bicycles, but these are complementary to the main collection.
Two hours was sufficient to view the full collection at a leisurely pace reading the signs, though they are expanding soon. This museum is close to the airport and is a great option if you have a few hours before a flight.
