点评：I don’t normally take the time to leave reviews, but I want to give potential customers a heads-up about what you might encounter here — especially if you’re booking a ride for a first-time rider.
We were really looking forward to this trail ride since it was my husband’s first time on a horse. I have riding experience myself; I understand the importance of safety and clear instruction around horses. However, there is a big difference between being safety-conscious and being condescending.
From the beginning, Patty was rude and belligerent toward my husband. Instead of offering patience and encouragement, she spoke to him in a demeaning manner. It became so uncomfortable that I seriously considered canceling the ride. However, knowing we wouldn’t receive a refund, I felt compelled to continue—despite my own excitement and anticipation for the experience.
Once we got out on the trail, the wrangler was very informative and professional. She made the ride enjoyable, and we appreciated her positive attitude.
First-time riders deserve guidance and support, not condescending embarrassment. Unfortunately, our experience left us with a lingering sense of disappointment. It’s especially disappointing because we loved Cave Creek. If we’re in the area again, we will find another ranch to ride with.
