点评:Visited in June with Friends at around 8:30 am on a Sunday, surprisingly less crowd but since they allow us to stand in front of the deity(Lord Vishnu or Perumal) for a minute or two, the queue moves a little slower than expected.
It is worth the wait, and despite asking us to keep moving, no one pushes with force like they do in Tirupathi. As most temples these days, pujari's are money minded here as well, put 100 Rs in the aarthi plate and they take the plate for an aarthi just for you, put 500 Rs and they voluntarily ask for your family members names, etc and perform a shloka for you. Common these days in many temples.
Though the temple premise is small, can perform a small wedding with about 50 to 60 guests.
Tonsuring available, but as you can read in many comments below, they charge more than you would expect to pay.
Fun couple hours drive and an hour at the temple on a weekend.
No hotels nearby, need to travel at least 10 kms to find hotels (not restaurants), so plan accordingly.
Lot of shops outside. Sweets, Puffed rice, mixtures and Lord Vishnu's pictures and gifts available.
