点评:I was disappointed with my visit to this museum. The $10 admission fee is a rip off considering the exhibits are text based and focus almost entirely on racial issues and labor history topics. I was hoping to learn more about the origins and history of Pueblo and the history of El Pueblo itself, especially since the museum is named after the trading post. Unfortunately, there was very little information about that and none of the related artifacts that were excavated are on display.
Visitors can view the ruins of El Pueblo just outside the museum at no cost, which made the admission fee feel even less worthwhile. I think they use the El Pueblo name to bait unsuspecting visitors who then find out the museums actual theme after paying the entrance fee. I did notice that there was a large No Refunds sign displayed so I’m sure they are used to disappointed visitors.
