Lovely family day out but cold in winter so wrap up warm!

点评：We hired a canal boat for the day and overall had a great experience. The good bits first
The lady who greeted us and booked us in was really lovely. She was welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of information.
The gent who showed us how to use the boat and got us going along the canal was also helpful and friendly.
We were able to take our dogs and they enjoyed the experience too.
There were a few negatives but nothing that ruined our experience. The facilities on the boat were not as clean as we would have hoped. The hob and cupboard with the mugs etc was a little grimy.
When we came back and couldn’t tie the boat up where we had left from, we tied it opposite. There was another man there that would have been aware of us struggling with this and appeared to wait until we were done before asking us to move the boat to another place! Why not just gesture us over from across the canal!?
Otherwise a really nice day out which we would do again.
