点评：We just returned from an 8-day safari in Kenya with Dawn in Africa to celebrate my parents’ 60th anniversary, and what an adventure it was! Planning for 9 family members felt intimidating, but Simon made it manageable by crafting a custom itinerary that hit all the expectations and stayed within our budget.
The trip wouldn't have been the same without our wonderful guides Evans and James. Beyond helping us find lions, elephants, and all the “big five,” they opened up the incredible world of birding— finding over 100 new species for us, from tiny sunbirds to the impressive secretary bird (my personal favorite). Birdwatching from a boat at Lake Naivasha, floating past hippos and crocodiles while spotting kingfishers and watching an African Fish Eagle catch his dinner right next to us, was unforgettable.
The accommodations were just as exceptional. At Mara Olapa Camp, right inside the Maasai Mara park, we felt completely immersed in the wild—falling asleep to the sound of hyenas outside our tent is something we’ll always remember! At Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, we stood in awe on our balcony as giraffes strolled by, and after dark we spotted hippos grazing on the lawn. The layout of the facility was unique and unlike any other hotel I've ever experienced.
From start to finish, this trip was filled with jaw-dropping moments, laughter, and family memories we’ll treasure forever. Right from the airport pickup to drop-off at the end, Dawn in Africa made sure it was seamless, magical, and more than we could have imagined. Highly recommend them for anyone dreaming of a real safari adventure!
