Lovely beach but challenge to get there

点评：We were recommended a visit to this beach by a friend. It was very wet and windy day but we are from the NE of Scotland so that does not bother us.
The road to Carbost is Ok, single track in places and a large number in f potholes. The 4 miles of road from Carbost to the beach are really bad. Single track all the way with passing places, it is narrow suitable for cars / SUVs only, in places it’s been resurfaced, in other places it’s really bad with large pot holes, drive carefully and slowly.
At the end of the road is a large turning circle with signs “do not park” and cones. Just before this were two small areas off the side of the road where you could park a small number of cars, 3/4 in one and maybe 2/3 in the other. They are not paved, very muddy with a lip off / up onto the road. One was very steep (I would not have parked). You really cannot park on the road as it’s far too narrow, and I would worry people will over park in the small places and block me in.
The walk to the beach is 20-30 minutes and relatively easy, it’s gravel / small stones, very muddy in places the day we went as raining and you go through several farm gates. Small buggy’s may be difficult.
The beach itself is stunning, lovely to explore, lots of photo opportunities even in the pouring rain and dim light. We were there at high tide so could not get close to the waterfall but had a laugh and a lovely walk (although totally soaked and that was with waterproof jackets and shoes) and covered in mud).
Is it worth it? At 4pm on a wet windy day in February glad we went. Although I was nervous about the road (and I have a AWD car). In the summer when it is busy with lots of cars, I would avoid unless really early or late in the day.

走到海滩大概需要20-30分钟，比较轻松，路面是碎石/小石子，我们去的那天因为下雨，有些地方很泥泞，而且要穿过好几个农场大门。小型婴儿车可能不太好走。
海滩本身非常漂亮，很值得探索，即使在倾盆大雨和昏暗的光线下，也有很多拍照的好地方。我们去的时候正值涨潮，所以没能靠近瀑布，但我们玩得很开心，也享受了一次愉快的散步（虽然全身湿透，即使穿着防水外套和鞋子，身上也沾满了泥巴）。
值得去吗？二月份一个阴雨大风的下午四点，我们去了，很庆幸我们去了。虽然我当时对路况有点担心（我开的是四驱车）。夏天车很多的时候，除非是清晨或傍晚，否则我建议避开。
