Bad experience with Velo Voyageur

点评：I would definitely NOT recommend this company. We had ordered 3 women's, open frame bikes with paniers and they confirmed this to us. We received 3 men's racing bikes with no paniers. These were not going to work for us - we are 3 women, 5'2" and could not comfortably or safely ride these bikes. We called the company 5 times (3 on their emergency number) and with no response determined we had to take the bikes to our next destination in Orange (on the train, at our expense). When we finally got a call back from them, they asked if we could still deal with 1 men's bike - NO! When they called back again, they said they had found 3 women's bikes for us and they could deliver them the afternoon of Day 2 of our ride. This meant we were losing 2 days of our 6 day bike trip or 1/3 of our trip. By missing the first 2 days we missed 2 of the highlights - Chateauneuf-du-Pape and the interesting geological formations on Day 2. The remainder of our trip went fine. When we requested compensation for their mistake, which they readily admitted, they offered each of us $75. out of our payment of approx. $1500. When we requested a higher rebate, they offered us $150 Euro each but since we have no plans to ever utilize this company again, we declined. They reverted back to $75. as their best offer. Such a disappointing experience on what should have been a good trip.
