点评:This is one of the popular temples to visit in Central England, known for preserving the traditional culture and practices followed back home. However, it's disheartening to see that only those who purchase Archana tickets are given the privilege to touch the Deepa Aarthi. The rest of the general crowd can only view the Aarthi being offered beyond the barricade, and while they are allowed to worship Lord Vishnu and touch the lighting lamp, the experience feels limited in comparison.
Upon exiting the temple, there's a sign pointing toward the Annadhana Hall, which most visitors tend to follow. When we visited around 6 PM, the hall was open but no food was being served. Many devotees were waiting patiently, hoping someone from the temple staff would bring food through the backdoor. Eventually, many lost patience and turned to a commercial dosa vendor located within the temple premises.
Later, when we returned to the office, we found out that food is served only at 7:30 PM. If the Annadhana timing could be displayed earlier, ideally near the direction board placed 0.2 miles before the hall—it could save devotees, especially the elderly and families with kids, from the unnecessary walk and long wait.
In its current setup, it unintentionally diverts the crowd toward the dosa vendor, especially when people see no food at the Annadhana Hall. This not only leads to disappointment but also indirectly promotes/increases sales for the commercial stall within the temple grounds.
