Kebun Sayur is the most affordable place to find gifts. Take time to go around and compare prices before settling. It is advisable to bring a local companion with you so they can assist you get the best deal when negotiating. There's always two sets of prices; one for the locals and another for foreigners. The vendors are willing to give discount if you ask. Choose shops that have large volume of products to offer, because you can get better deals. Locals are friendly and respectful but you have to also reciprocate the same. Most shops accept cash only, a few accept either local bank transfers or Asian e-wallets. You'll barely find a stall that uses an eftpos machine for your Visa card
