点评：We had such a wonderful stay here! We spent two nights in one of the tipis, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Everything was clean and well cared for. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Jeff was especially great at recommending pet-friendly activities and some fantastic off-the-beaten-path spots that were less touristy. His recommendations really helped us make the most of our time in the area!
The campground is also incredibly dog friendly, which made a huge difference for us. Our site had a fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, and a picnic table, making it the perfect little spot to relax in the evenings.
There is also a community fire pit where guests gather in the evenings for a bonfire, guitar, and singing with Jeff. We didn’t end up joining in ourselves, but it was honestly lovely to sit at our site and hear the guitar and singing in the background. It gave the campground such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a real sense of community.
We really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities too. Linens and towels were provided, there’s a community kitchen with a fridge available for guests, and there’s even a little shop on site for those extra things you might need.
There’s a great variety of accommodations, including traditional campsites, cabins, and tipis, so there’s something for every kind of camper.
The location is fantastic as well, easily accessible and conveniently close to the ferry to/from Tobermory, making it a great home base for exploring the area.
We would absolutely stay here again. Clean, welcoming, peaceful, dog friendly, and run by genuinely lovely people. The kind of place where the hosts care about their guests’ experience. Highly recommended!
