点评：I completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Discovery World Trekking in late December/early January, and it was truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Trekking during winter meant fewer crowds, crystal-clear skies, and a magical snow-dusted landscape that felt like our own private Himalaya – but it also brought challenges like cold temperatures and snowy trails over Thorong La Pass. Discovery World Trekking handled everything flawlessly, making the journey safe, enjoyable, and stress-free.
From the initial planning with their responsive team to the seamless logistics (permits, teahouses, transportation), everything was professionally organized. The accommodations and meals were comfortable and hearty, perfect for refueling after long days on the trail.
What made this trek exceptional was our guide, **Chhanda**. He was incredibly helpful, always checking on our well-being, adjusting the pace as needed, and ensuring we acclimatized properly. Chhanda is not only highly knowledgeable about the region's history, culture, flora, and fauna – sharing fascinating stories that brought the trail to life – but also genuinely nice and hilarious! His sense of humor kept our spirits high during tougher sections, turning potential struggles into fun memories. We laughed constantly and felt like we were trekking with a friend rather than just a guide.
Thanks to Chhanda and the entire Discovery World Trekking team, we safely crossed the stunning Thorong La Pass and experienced the diverse beauty of the Annapurna region in its serene winter glory. I can't recommend them highly enough – if you're considering this trek (even in off-season), go with Discovery World Trekking and request Chhanda if possible. Amazing company, amazing guide, amazing adventure!
