点评：We were thoroughly impressed by Museum Angkut in Batu. It is a surprisingly world mclass attraction packed with massive, beautifully curated exhibitions and a staggering collection of antique and classic cars. While I cannot speak to the mechanical or engine conditions of the vehicles, their exterior preservation is absolutely flawless. To put it into perspective for global travelers: if Los Angeles, California has the famous Petersen Automotive Museum, then Indonesia has Museum Angkut. Another major highlight is their dedicated display of an Indonesian Presidential Boeing 737 aircraft, featuring an immersive mockup interior that instantly reminded us of the legendary Air Force One exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
The museum is cleverly structured into several detailed thematic zones, ranging from Old Town Batavia and London to Hollywood, London, Las Vegas and more. Every single corner is incredibly immersive and highly Instagrammable if you are looking to take great photos.
Beyond the stationary displays, they host several daily live entertainment shows. The highlight for our family was a live drifting exhibition reminiscent of Tokyo Drift. The drivers are exceptionally skilled, and it was a massive thrill for the kids to watch real-life drifting and donut maneuvers up close in a safe environment.
With a very affordable entrance fee, this place provides massive value for money. Whether you are a hardcore automotive buff or simply a casual tourist looking for great photo spots, this museum will easily become one of your favorite stops in the area.
