点评:First of all, the team organized everything for us and all went out well! Our nice driver Kling picked us up of the Airport, Tool us to lunch at a local Restaurant and drove us safely to the Ecolodge. We had the incredible chance to do a 6-hour jungle trek with Ginta and André – just the two of us as a couple, guided by these two amazing guides. Starting early at 7:30 AM meant we had the forest almost to ourselves, long before the other groups arrived.
Ginta was so caring and attentive, always checking in on us, giving us enough breaks, and choosing quiet paths where we rarely met other hikers.
We were lucky to see two orangutans – a mother with her baby – and even a scorpion. The towering trees, the dense greenery, and the sounds of the jungle were simply breathtaking. Ginta also shared so much valuable knowledge about the rapidly disappearing rubber and rattan trees, which are sadly exploited for furniture.
Yes, it was humid (90%!) and the paths were muddy and full of roots – but the beauty and magic of the jungle made every step worth it.
We’d do it again in a heartbeat – but only with thoughtful, passionate guides like Ginta.
Thanks also to Kling who drove us to the Airport at midnight!
Thanks so much for this perfect experience!
