点评：Beautiful scenery but parking was £6.50 regardless of how long you stay. We should have pre-planned a route before attending because we ended up taking a lovely walk up a gravel path to another car park 😂
We then tried to salvage it by following grass paths, but they ended up being too tough of a walk for our 5yo and 2yo so we had to double back. By this point we’d walked so much that the kids were fed up.
The kids enjoyed the play area and the cafe looked nice too although we didn’t try it. We had a picnic on a big field area where we were able to see some of the Go Ape activities.
Overall I’m sure it’s lovely, but our experience was a bit rubbish! We wanted to do the Gruffalo walk but realised after it was too late that you need to use a car park much further up past the visitor centre unless your children are able to walk that far. We’re unlikely to go again as we attended whilst on holiday, but if we ever did I’d do a bit more research. It’s not a turn up and wing it kind of scenario!

总的来说，我相信这里应该挺不错的，但我们的体验却相当糟糕！我们原本打算参加“格鲁弗洛徒步之旅”，后来才发现为时已晚——除非孩子们能走很远的路，否则必须把车停在游客中心更前面的停车场才行。我们不太可能再去了，因为上次去是在度假期间。不过如果将来真的再去的话，我会做更多相关的准备工作。这可不是那种临时起意、随便去一趟就能应付的情况啊！
