点评:I did this 2 hour walking food tour in downtown Bogotá with my parents and honestly it was one of the best things we did during our trip.
Alvarito was super easy to talk to and really knows a lot about the city. It didn’t feel like a tour where someone just repeats a script, it felt more like walking around with a friend who loves Bogotá and wants to show it to you.
We tried hot chocolate with cheese (I had never tried that before), tamal, changua, empanadas, almojábanas, pan de yuca and a drink made with coca leaves. Everything was really good and we went to places I would never have found on my own.
What I liked the most is that he didn’t only talk about the food but also about the history of the area, the buildings and how the city has changed. My parents enjoyed it a lot too, which is not always easy with tours.
If you want to understand Bogotá beyond the typical tourist spots, I really recommend this experience.
