Quite a hard day out for grandparents

点评：A mixed bag for us. Fortunately we were there on a very quiet day before the majority of schools had broken up.
1. Bizarre ticketing system: you book online but when you arrive you have to fill in names of all visitors and sign an insurance waiver. This slows down the admission speed and consequently there are very soon queues.
2.Children are not allowed to roam free until they are 9: this has the consequence of having to trail around following your children all day with very few places to sit whilst you ‘watch over them’ ( our grandchildren were sent back to us when they attempted to run between activities.
3. There are “restrictions” about who can use the individual playground items but no one to enforce them. My grand daughter was behind a toddler ( no more than 3 years old and my guess was that he was younger) who have navigated his way up to the walkway of the tangled tunnels, which was more than 10 foot above the ground, whilst his mother was down below encouraging him onward but in no position to help him if he got stuck.
4. Conversely because of the policy of not allowing children full rein there were a lot of adults following their children on the playground activities. Adults move more slowly than children so the freedom of children to play at their own pace were compromised by bumping into adults who were in the way.
5. Our group of children were disappointed with the storytime since they had heard the stories before on a previous visit with their parents.
6.Not much evidence of staff. . We only saw staff members at the entrance gate, operating the boats, doing storytime and facilitating the zip wires.
7. We spent 4 hours there. Took our own food. Children all very ready to go home.

4. 相反，由于规定不允许儿童随心所欲地活动，因此有许多成年人在操场上密切注视着自己的孩子。成年人行动比儿童缓慢，因此孩子们按照自己的节奏玩耍的自由受到了阻碍——他们常常会撞到挡在路上的成年人。
5. 我们这群孩子对故事时间感到失望，因为他们之前在父母的陪伴下来过一次，已经听过这些故事了。
6. 几乎看不到工作人员的踪迹。我们只在入口处看到工作人员，他们负责操作船只、讲述故事以及组织滑索活动。
